Portfolio 7, I was able to choose a model this month, the Beretta 93R Machine Pistol. The reason I picked this model, no reason I just thought it looked cool. Since I did more Hard Surface Modeling, I decided to do another for this class.
The first week I gathered my references for the Beretta 93r and created my High Resolution model. Week 2, I created my Game Resolution model, then UV'd and laid out the shells. I was told to apply a material for each mesh before sending to Substance Painter and baking, which is something I thought was helpful when working.
Week 3, I learned a new method baking for AO mapping which I will discuss in another project I worked on for this month. Next I baked the High Res model to the Game Res Model and applied some simple textures. And for Week 4, I added some more details to the model, to get it as close to my references as I could. It was really exciting to work on this project.
